The Intermediate cycle consists of grades 7, 8 and 9. It implements two programs: the Lebanese Program through which students attain an official certificate at the end of grade 9 after they pass the official exams, and the American System Program which is designated for students of foreign nationalities or Lebanese students who have spent more than 3 years abroad. These students are exempted from official exams and have special programs especially in Arabic and social studies.
The secondary cycle consists of grades 10, 11 and 12 where each grade is further divided into scientific or socio-economic sections. Similar to the intermediate cycle, it also includes two programs: the regular Lebanese Program and the American System Program. The students following the Lebanese Program sit for official exams in their specialty section and get the official Bac II certificate while those following the American System Program are exempted from official exams and enroll in the freshman class at the university depending on their school grades.
In both cycles, French is taught as a 3rd Language and elective courses (drama, music, photography, cooking, crafts, computer, etc.…) provide students with a variety of learning experiences that are academically challenging, developmentally appropriate, and personally relevant. In addition, we aim at inspiring and empowering students to excel both academically and socially; thus, we encourage students to participate in extracurricular activities arranged by universities and respectful organizations in Lebanon. Students can also enjoy the after-school sports activities and get the chance to join the sports teams that are achieving excellent results, especially in football and basketball.
In the end, we strive to assist our students in developing their skills to become independent and self-sufficient adults who succeed in college and career life and contribute responsibly in the community, be it local or global.
